TCU undertakes numerous service learning activities beyond campus and many are student-run and voluntary. TCU encourages faculty members and students to work on service learning projects or courses. TCU budgets and resources foster, facilitate, and sustain service learning courses and service activities both in Taiwan and abroad.
Tzu Chi University assists Hualien Girls’ High School in developing SDGs program
In order to plant the goal of sustainable development in everyone’s heart, and to combine the power of more people to move towards sustainable development.
Tzu Chi University’s SDGs Teaching and Research Center cooperated with Hualien Girls’ High School to help promote the SDGs-based multiple elective course, “Using the Power of Citizenship to Cooperatively Promote the Sustainable Development Goals SDGs,” as a multiple elective course for senior high school seniors, and the instructors included Director Chiu of Tzu Chi University’s SDGs Teaching and Research Center and other teachers.
